In the role of Construction Manager, Jenkins-Essex Construction serves as the Owner's representative in dealing with all phases of the project. We begin by working with the Architect on value engineering, plans and specifications, cost estimating and scheduling. We manage the bid process including qualifying all bidders, preparing the bid documents and evaluating the bids received. During construction, we supervise all work with a project manager and on-site superintendent, we administer all contracts, prepare and track billings and maintain detailed cost accounting records. In short we ensure the owner receives a quality project on-time, within budget without the headaches of administering the process themselves.
