Since 1904,
when Neff Jenkins and William Essex purchased a lumber mill,
Jenkins-Essex has been serving Central Kentucky with quality,
expertise and dedication. Our longevity is testament to our
capabilities. We believe that our success has come through
honesty, integrity, knowledge and hard work. Our objective
is to build a superior product at a fair price.
Not only is
our experience lengthy, it is diverse. With over 200 years
of combined experience on our professional team, there
is virtually no situation or scenario that we have not previously
encountered. We pursue opportunities in Design/Build, Construction
Management and traditional General Contracting. We have
built almost every type of structure imaginable with vast
experience in industrial, institutional and commercial projects.
We
have an extensive roster of past customers, subcontractors
and suppliers who can
speak to our qualifications. Now in our fourth generation
of family ownership and management, we have successfully
completed over 35 million square feet of projects. We have
been fortunate enough to build some of the most recognized
buildings in this community including Hardin County Justice Center, Elizabethtown Police Station, Bluegrass Cellular Headquarters, and Akebono Brake North America Headquarters.
